Greetings,
Subject: Conducting a Trade Mission to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan
Based on the Council’s role in developing Egyptian exports, and in reference to the fruitful and effective cooperation between the Export Council for Chemical Industries and Fertilizers and the Export Council for Building Materials and Refractories, it has been decided to conduct a joint trade mission to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from June 1-5, 2024, in coordination with the Egyptian Commercial Representation and Jordan Office, and in cooperation with the United States Agency for Community Development’s Trade Development Project. Jordan is considered an important market for the sectors affiliated with both councils and a target country for increasing Egyptian exports. The visit agenda includes arranging a number of bilateral meetings with major importers operating in the following industrial sectors (intermediate chemical industries – organic and inorganic chemicals and various chemicals – plastics, plastics, and rubber products – fertilizers and pesticides – paints and inks – PVC and polypropylene pipes of all types – glass tableware – building materials chemicals – insulation and lining materials – glue – plastic furniture and plastic home and garden supplies…) to participate in the trade mission.
Note that the cost of participating in the trade mission for one company is $2,000, including the following:
1. Accommodation for 5 days and 4 nights (one person from the company).
2. Flight (one person from the company).
3. Airport transfers.
4. Field visits to markets.
5. Business forum (bilateral meetings).
6. Bilateral meetings at the headquarters of potential clients.
7. Internal transportation (for market visits and bilateral meetings at client locations).
8. Promotional and marketing campaigns and promotional materials for the mission.
If you wish to participate in the trade mission, please complete the attached form and the attached file by March 31, 2024, and submit them via email. This will enable the Council to review the companies’ profiles, in coordination with the organizing partners in the Jordanian market, and examine the compatibility of the products with the country’s import structure and the volume of demand for the products to ensure maximum benefit.
